Marketing Community’s Year-End Fundraising Campaign to Support Students and Community Members

Celebrating Giving Tuesday, the American Marketing Association Foundation will highlight community members and their work on Tuesday, November 28

Chicago, IL—Starting in November and going through the end of 2023, the American Marketing Association (AMA) Foundation will be raising awareness and funds to elevate marketing visionaries, empower future generations, inspire a more diverse industry and ensure marketing research impacts public good. Gifts to the Foundation go towards awards that honor influential, revolutionary and transformative marketers and their work.

Participating in Giving Tuesday—a global generosity movement that encourages people and organizations to revolutionize the communities they are part of—the Foundation encourages the community to come together on Tuesday, November 28 to raise awareness and support for the AMA programs. The Foundation currently supports over 40 awards, scholarships, and programs to elevate outstanding marketers, celebrate innovative work, and inspire diversity in the community.

“We change the future of marketing in radical ways through our dedication and service to our community. Giving our time, effort, and resources to help reimagine the communities we’re a part of, to make them more reflective of who we are, is how we create change,” said AMA CEO, Bennie F. Johnson. “By being part of the global community on Giving Tuesday, we are working toward creating that positive impact and making the world a better place through our work.”

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the AMA. More information about the AMA Foundation is available at AMA.org
