About the Workshop:
This workshop will offer knowledge and skills to support the development and publication of research on important real-world marketing questions and problems. The 1.5 day event, held in conjunction with the 2020 AMA Winter Academic Conference, will involve plenary speakers (JM Editors, Associate Editors, and ERB members, including Christine Moorman, Page Moreau, Ajay Kohli, Rom Schrift, Markus Giesler, Raji Srinivasan, Hari Sridhar, and Ashlee Humphreys) followed by workshop-style activities in which participants will have an opportunity to practice developing and pitching their research ideas to editorial teams and other participants.
The Journal of Marketing develops and disseminates knowledge about real-world marketing questions useful to scholars, educators, managers, policy makers, consumers, and other societal stakeholders around the world. This Workshop supports JMâs mission in important ways.
Questions should be directed to Michael Haenlein, Professor of Marketing at ESCP Europe, haenlein@escpeurope.eu, who will review all applications. Acceptance of CV is required to register for workshop.
Preference will be given to junior scholars in case of space constraints. A group of senior scholars associated with the Journal of Marketing will also be recruited to serve as workshop facilitators.
