Proving ROI Through Data Visualization
Communicating data is completely different from (and entirely the same as) communicating other types of information. It’s different, in that there are best practices for how to talk about and visualize data that is different from talking about and visualizing other things.
But it’s the same, in that you need to remember that just because what you’re communicating is numbers, that doesn’t mean the audience isn’t still a bunch of humans who just need to understand what’s important. And guess what, it’s not “the data” that’s important. It’s the insights in the data.
You will leave this workshop thinking differently about how to communicate with data and armed with some tangible techniques to do so immediately.
